My Top Favorite Beauty Products From 2016 I Beautylish Life

آالسلام عليكم يآاحلوين ~
Hello beautiful people ~

First of all.. Happy New Year!!! I can't believe I finally got a new DSLR and back to blogging again! I wish this year will be filled with many good surprises for all of you beauties <3
2016 has been a crazy year with many up's and downs
but I am pretty sure many of you would agree when I say that I am glad its over and let's never talk about it again ( like, never.. hah)
But today I will talk about it for the last time.. (some of it , kind of..)

I feel like 2016 was the year where I didn't really experiment with alot of beauty products (who am I kidding tho?) but seriously, I could've experimented more!.
However, with all the crazy life that I had and the busy school schedule, most of the time I just stayed with products that are comfortable for me because I know they won't disappoint me when I use them
Therefore, I've decided to share some of my stable beauty products from 2016 that I am planing to continue use in 2017
And now let the mini reviews begin !~
CoverGirl Ready Set Gorgeous Foundation
$6.25 (Walmart)

This foundation has been I the drugstore for almost 2 years now (I believe)
But 2016 was the year that I discovered it and absolutely fell in love with it.
The foundation has a very nice and long lasting coverage.
The color selection is not that great, the lightest shade is slightly dark on me
so I would usually mix it with my Revlon Colorstay foundation (Read Full Review) to get the perfect shade
( This combo saved me throughout the long work hours and being at college all day)
I highly recommend you guys mix and match your foundations when there's a lack in lack of coverage or shades.
Try mixing your other foundations, who knows maybe you would like the final combination like I did! (and that way you didn't waste your money on a foundation you don't like and can't use)

Ladies and Gentlemen can we take a moment to appreciate the fact that I finally tried the one and only Original Beauty Blender!
$20.00 (Sephora)
I feel like everyone and their mom's cousins son mother of the father son grandma TRIED the beauty blender expect me ( Hi :) But with that being said I am pretty sure I wasn't the only one because I was kind of always avoiding trying it out cause it was too hyped.
Then one day I woke up and decided that If I need to compare other beauty blenders then I gotta try the original after all its about time, and you guys I am so glad I did!
This beauty blender is a life saver for my foundation routine!
In general I like to use brushes cause I feel like it's faster. However, whenever I feel like my skin is acting up and something is not blending well, or I want to smooth everything out.. then I would always reach for the beauty blender!
I usually have problem with foundations being applied on my nose! It always doesn't apply evenly no matter what I use or techniques, primers, skin care routine .. it just didn't work!
How ever after the beauty blender, things are looking way better
Now after I apply my foundation with my brush, I will take the beauty blender and whatever left on my hand from the foundation and DAP that over my nose ( dap dap dap!) then set it with setting powder and BAM everything stays in place~ One more thing! even when its dry, it still blends great!
MAYBELLINE SuperStay Better Skin Powder
$8.94 (Walmart)
This powder has been my everyday "go to" powder.
It has a beautiful finish and it gives a bit more coverage without looking so cakey
( After my foundation and concealer I would usually set my face with it mostly on the areas that needs a bit more coverage and the rest I use my Rimmel Stay Matte Powder)

Wet n Wild MegaGlo Contouring Palette
$4.99 (Target)
This is my 3rd purchase of this product
I really like the brown shade in this product because its not too warm and not too ashy which if you were someone with a pale skin with yellow undertone then you know the struggle of founding a good bronzer that won't look orange or too grey!
I highly recommend it and I believe that I will continue to repurchase it until I find something better similar or better.
Morphe 9B The Blushed Blush Palette
$19.99 (Morphebrushes.com)
Oh dear, I bought this from HauteLook when they had it on sale in one of their events and I am so glad that I did!
It has all the colors that I need for pretty much every look. I usually like to mix and match the shades
I even sometimes mix the beautiful rich red color and mix it with a light brown and put it in my crease for a warm crease look and it looks beautiful!
Highly recommend this palette, it very pigmented and it last a very long way because a little goes along way.
e.l.f. Studio Eyebrow Kit in medium
$2.99 (Walmart)
This is not really a 2016 purchase but I still wanted to mention it because it is one of the main products that I reach for every time I do my makeup.
I love the gel its the perfect shade for me and it keeps everything in place. On the other side, I don't use the powder on my eyebrows, I actually use it as a contour color! Its the perfect shade for my skin tone and it is not very grey or ashy with a bit of warmth in it. I absolutely love it and will always continue to purchase it.

LANCÔME Grandiôse Extreme Mascara
$32.00 (Sephora)
This was a gift from my Mama and I am very thankful for it because this mascara is absolutely amazing! it gives my lashes a great volume and length.
Now that I think about it while writing this..the wand actually reminds me of  the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara. The wand gives that same effect of separating the lashes while still giving it volume and length.
ESSENCE  Lip Liner in Satin Mauve 06
$1.99 (Ulta)
This lip liner has been my go to whenever I decide to wear a lipstick
Now here's the thing, I don't wear alot of lipsticks because I have a braces on, which to be honest I don't like the way it looks when I have a lipstick on. But! when I do have a lipstick on, I always line my lips with it, it really compliments my skin tone and makes my lips looks plump and beautiful.
I highly recommend this color for an everyday or to pair it with any type of nude or pink lip colors.

NYX LIQUID SUEDE CREAM LIPSTICK in Soft Spoken
$6.99 (Ulta)
I discovered this liquid lipstick in one of my Ipsy bags.
first of all, I really like this color, it is a gorgeous color for Fall/Winter time.
I've heard many mixed reviews about this one which is why I hesitated to try it out, but I am really glad I tried it after all. I didn't have a problem with it fading or looking patchy in some areas like I heard. Who knows! maybe I just got one of the good ones or maybe I would have a problem with the other shades! we shall see once I try it and will keep you guys updated!.
The Balm Meet Matt(e) Hughes Liquid Lipstick in Committed
$17.00 (khol's)
This is also one of the products that I've discovered through Ipsy, I got the sample size in my Ipsy bag and Oh dear I feel in love! I purchased it right away and It easily become my go to lip color
I saw other peoples swatches and on some people it looks way lighter and on me it looks different, so I believe it usually depends on the persons lip color and pigment.
Over all! I really love this liquid lipstick and the way it feels on the lips and it stays for a long time as well and BTW! it smells great!!

MAYBELLINE Color Sensational Vivid Matte Liquid Lip Colorin 10 Nude Flush
$7.99 (Ulta)
This is a very beautiful everyday color! I usually would line my lips with the Essence lip liner and then apply this and it is the perfect everyday combo that really compliments pretty much every skin tone.
Keep in mind this is not a liquid lipstick so it won't feel dry it will still feel creamy which I don't mind at all cause it keeps my lips hydrated and creamy.
Carli Bybel 14 Color Eyeshadow & Highlighter Palette
$14.50 (Ulta & BH Cosmetics)
Oh this palette is my babyeaah, I love love love this palette! I mean looks at it! I've basically almost used it all up!
I won't get into much details because I have a full review on it you can check it out Right HERE
I heard its going to be discontinued soon and its already out of stock on Ulta but still available on BH Cosmetics websites ( I am soo going to get couple more to stock up cause I can't imagine my makeup collection without it.. it's that serious. okay I will stop now -_-)

That's pretty much it for my top favorite beauty products that I've used in 2016 and will continue to have in my collection in 2017!
Tell me what is your top products from 2016?!
I would love to know and try it out

Wish you all a lovely Tuesday
Take care~ <3
