Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation Review

Hello beautiful people <3
Hope you'll having a lovely day/night so far!

Today I am here with another review and this time its all about
The Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation
Description (What it claims to do)
Tone + texture-fitting foundation for the ultimate natural fit.
Mattifies, erases pores and matches natural tone.
For Normal to Oily Skin.
It is available in 16 shades
which is pretty good selection for all skin tones.

(it doesn't come with a pump , urgh)

Swatches ~
This shade is the 2nd to the lightest and it's one shade darker than my actual skin tone, and the lightest one is too light. I didn't really liek that cause it means you'll have to mix two shades sometimes to get your actual shade but I said to my self I won't purchase two of them till I see if I like it first.

The Actual Product ~
I've been testing this foundation for almost two weeks and here's my thoughts so far
It blends really well and it sets in like 15 mins, the coverage is light to medium, I had some acne scars it was covered, but then I have a couple new pimples and it didn't really cover them, I tried to build it and it did not work.
While I was testing it out, unfortunately it did broke me out from the second use, at first I did not notice cause I thought its just a regular monthly breakout, and then I was like (what's going on?! I am not using something different, diet is the same, my skin care is the same, but then I realized it was the foundation.

9 to 10 hours of total wearing ~
To me it was not long wearing, I've tested it out all without a primer but I did use it with setting powder few times and I got same results.
After almost 2 hours of wearing, I will start getting shiny on my T-zone and it continued that way for the 9 hours of wearing.  after my 3rd hour it started to disappear around my nose, on my blemishes and I guess you can guess the rest. The only good thing is that it doesn't look patchy or caky even after long wearing.

Demo ~
(Excuse the eyebrow it was out of control hah)
In the picture, Iam wearing it with powder and some concealer. As you can see the coverage is nice when its the first couple of hours but then when the day go on it gets worse.

Overall ~
This foundation does have a nice coverage for those who like a medium coverage or for a daily use. For me personally I will not use it again cause it broke me out and I didn't like how it disappear after like 3 or 4 hours and it does get shiny faster than I thought. It says it is oil free but I am not quite sure about that cause if it really does then it would've done a better job on my skin. But, it does look matte when you first apply it and it sets well then it gets shiny after the 3rd hour in regular day even when I am not outdoors.
Unfortunately, I was having a high hopes for this foundation but it was a total miss for me and I would never reach for it again not because it didn't really help with my combo skin but also it broke me out and that's a big no for meh.

- Good selection of shades
- It blends well and it does hide your pores for the most part.
- Has a matte finish (for the first hours)
- Oil free
- Feel's light on the skin
- It looks natural.
- Not long lasting
- I do not believe it's oil free
- Gets shiny after a couple of hours
- Disappear on some areas after the 3rd hour
- Needs touch up's
- It broke me out

So that's all my thought's on this foundation, sadly it was a miss for me cause usually I'am a huge fan of Maybelline cosmetics in general.

If any of you tried it out let me know how you like it??
Which foundation is your current favorite??
cause I am on the hunt to try a new foundation!

P.S This is not sponsored or any of my previous posts are :)
Best Wishes~
